From our Recovery Minister

Hello, church family!
I am so excited about the direction our church is heading! I have watched Jesus use this body of believers to transform and impact our community in many ways over the last ten years!! Walking into this church, I could never have believed what God would do. God transformed my entire family using Celebrate Recovery! He then used us to form a non-profit called Freedom Life Compass, Inc. and to open a halfway house for women called the Freedom House. He has used our Celebrate Recovery to impact so many through the various outreach opportunities in the jails, shelters, and prisons.

Freedom Life Compass has referred over 200 people into residential recovery programs over the last 2 years and Celebrate Recovery was a major part of connecting with those in need of addiction recovery! We have been blessed to see dozens baptized and accept Christ!

It is unbelievable to see how God has interwoven the callings of Celebrate Recovery and Freedom Life Compass to minister to the hurting and lost and how Crosspoint has been a massive part of making this impact. We have Celebrate Recovery meetings in Okaloosa and Walton County jails and prisons, as well as in the homeless shelter in Fort Walton Beach.

We also launched Celebrate Recovery at the Freeport Campus, which will celebrate one year in June! Not to mention Niceville Celebrate Recovery will celebrate 16 years of lives changed next Tuesday! Come and celebrate 16 years with us on Tuesday, May 30, 2023!

I would love to meet you and share how amazing our God is when we choose to die daily to ourselves and pick up his cross and walk with him!

Happy are the pure in heart,

Stephanie Wedel, Recovery Minister
