From our Recreation Minister

Hello, Crosspoint Athletes and Families.

"And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Colossians 3:17

My name is Josh Salazar, and I am the new Director of Recreation at Crosspoint in Niceville.  I have over 20 years of experience as a youth and recreation minister.  As I start this new chapter with Crosspoint, I would like to offer sincere gratitude to those who have prayed for and built this facility with the intention of building God's Kingdom for His glory.  With this at the forefront, I desire to pray for and build a community that effectively glorifies God in all we do.  I ask you all to join me in prioritizing prayer as a foundational part of this ministry.  This will include praying for the facility, praying for events, and praying for the people who benefit from this place.  My father-in-law always said, “Five minutes of prayer can do more for a person than an hour of sharing your opinion with them.” To see a move of God, we must begin by inviting Him into all we say and do.

In fact, we are trying to make a lot of opportunities for everyone to do just that, all through the fun and fellowship of recreation. As we move into fall, registration is open for our adult indoor volleyball league, Little Angels basketball clinic, and youth indoor basketball league. We even have many other adult and youth recreation activities that you might enjoy, such as baton, dance, gymnastics, pickleball, soccer, square dancing, senior fitness classes…….. Please feel free to reach out to me and the recreation team anytime, and please remember me in your prayers as I begin my new role as Director of Recreation.

Sincerely,
Josh Salazar, Recreation Minister

"And whatever you ask in My Name, I will do, and the Father may be glorified in the Son." John 14:13
