Dear Crosspoint Church Family,

As summer begins to wind down, our halls at Crosspoint Academy have been anything but quiet. Our staff has spent countless hours preparing classrooms, planning lessons, organizing materials, and praying over every child who will walk through our doors this fall. There is an excitement in the air as we anticipate another year of watching little hearts and minds grow.

Working with young children is so much more than teaching letters, numbers, and colors. It is a calling. The preschool years are some of the most formative years of a child's life. They are the years when seeds of faith are planted, confidence is built, and a love for learning begins. We have the incredible privilege of helping establish a foundation rooted in both academic excellence and the love of Jesus Christ.

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:6

My own journey with Crosspoint Academy began in 2015 when my daughter started preschool at the South Campus. Since then, I have had the joy of watching all of my children either graduate from or currently attend this wonderful program. In 2020, I was blessed to officially join the Academy team, and it has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

Over the past eleven years, there has been one comment I've heard at the end of nearly every school year, and if I'm honest, I found myself saying it too:

"I just wish you had Kindergarten!"

For years, that dream has been covered in prayer. We have trusted God's timing, knowing that if He opened the door, He would faithfully provide the way.

Today, I am overjoyed to share with our Crosspoint family that Crosspoint Academy North Crestview is going to Kindergarten! This fall, we will launch our very first Kindergarten class for the 2026-2027 school year.

This is an incredible milestone, not only for our Academy, but for our entire church campus. We believe God is expanding our opportunity to disciple children and partner with families during some of the most important years of their lives. As these students continue their educational journey with us, we will have the privilege of continuing to nurture their faith, encourage their character, and equip them to become confident learners and devoted followers of Christ.

As we begin this exciting new chapter, we would love for our church family to partner with us in two important ways.

First, pray. Please keep our incoming students, their families, and our Academy staff in your daily prayers. Pray that every child who enters our classrooms feels safe, loved, and experiences the love of Christ. Pray that God would give our teachers wisdom, patience, and joy as they pour into these young lives.

Second, help us spread the word. We still have a few openings available in our new Kindergarten class as well as in our Three-Year-Old Program. If you know families looking for a Christ-centered, play-based education where children are known, loved, and encouraged to grow in both faith and learning, we would be honored if you shared Crosspoint Academy, North Crestview with them.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our church family. Your prayers, encouragement, and belief in this ministry have helped make this exciting season possible. We cannot wait to see all that God has in store as we continue investing in the next generation and growing His Kingdom.

With Gratitude,

Holly Neighbours, Crosspoint Academy Director
