Since 2008 Crosspoint has taken up the challenge to "Spend Less / Give More" during the Christmas Season. These "over and above" offerings have resulted in over 4.5 Million Dollars being given towards Kingdom Causes around the world, and in our own backyard.

Crosspoint Advent Offerings are broken into two categories:
Our Africa related offerings, and our local mission offering.
African Offerings:
Our African offerings have been a key part of the Advent program since it's inception. We offer material support in the context of deep, long-term relationships to pastors in and around the Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan. Our lead pastor Rurel Ausley leads these efforts and is in regular communication with our partners, he even leads an online pastoral training cohort with some of our African friends each week! When you support the Africa offerings, you are supporting:
Bikes and Bibles: Providing bikes and native language Bibles to our African pastor partners has been a key part of our Africa Advent offerings since the very beginning! Our partners are ready to live as “deployed disciples” giving them bikes helps them get to all of the places God is sending them and native language Bibles ensure that God’s word is going with them!
Last time we visited our African partners, we heard a story from a young man in a rural village who learned to read using the Native Language Bible gifted to his local church by the people of Crosspoint. The Bible didn't just provide access to God's word, for some it provided a pathway to literacy!
Church Buildings and Church Plants: Crosspoint has been integral to helping build or finish building Church Buildings for our African partners since the very beginning of our Africa Advent offerings. Last year our strategy broadened and we began partnering with One Mission Society to offer an organized training program that empower pastors to start new churches (with our without buildings!). This year we're also bringing our friends from Favor International (Carole Ward's team) into this project!
The 75 pastors we have already helped train have planted 148 new churches. We recently got video of one of these church's first worship services - featuring a pastor in a robe with a stole, preaching to 50-75 folks gathered in a circle outside under the shade of a Palm Tree.
Pastoral Training: Africa Advent offerings provide seminars and retreats, and empower leaders who train other leaders in an effort to support these gifted men and women as they make disciples, who make disciples across Africa. Our training efforts now also include helping support pastors get the education they need to be ordained and credentialed in the Global Methodist Church.
Part of the education and training efforts are taking place in the Rurel Ausley Training Center, named in honor of our lead pastor emeritus, who continues to do GREAT work leading our African efforts and supporting our partners.

Local Offering - C.A.L.M. House:
The C.A.L.M. House provides a safe home, training, and an uplifting - explicitly Christian - environment for single mothers and their young kids from across the panhandle. This program grew out of a Crosspoint life group who discovered their unique role, and then launched a non-profit! Donations to C.A.L.M. will help provide shelter and training to single mothers and their kids, help fund their tiny home village for transitional housing, and provide the resources and staff that keep these programs active. How Is My Giving Designated?
Africa Advent offerings pay for bikes for African Pastors, motorbikes for church area supervisors, native language Bibles for pastors, pastoral trainings for partners and friends, and building or completing Church buildings. These projects are fueled by the faithful work of our Church partners in and around the Congo and the Favor International team in Uganda and South Sudan. These funds are distributed according to the most relevant needs, by Pastor Emeritus Rurel Ausley, and Lead Pastor Jeremy Smith. The projects are overseen by a team of African partners that we trust deeply and maintain ongoing relationships with
C.A.L.M. House offerings will be given directly to the C.A.L.M. House, a fait based 501c3 serving single mothers our area. The C.A.L.M. House offers a robust program that includes training in life skills, spiritual support, connection to local long-term housing and job markets, and more! They also operate a used furniture that helps fund the mission.
