What if God spoke to you by name and called you to serve him powerfully? What if God invited you into a big adventure to change the culture, lead people back to God before it was too late? And what if, at the same time, no one listened, and nothing changedThis was the case for the prophet Jeremiah and King Josiah. God called Jeremiah to speak truth to his people, who never listened, and Josiah led the Kingdom of Israel for a short 37 years of peace and obedience. They lost the culture war. They knew no one would listen. But they remained faithful. They followed God’s will into tragedy and suffering, but they still pointed to a future hope.
