From Our Kids Minister
Crosspoint, Bluewater Bay,
What an incredible week we experienced at Rainforest Falls VBS!
Over four evenings, our campus was transformed into a rainforest adventure as children learned about God's love, worshiped together, played games, memorized Scripture, and discovered more about who God is.
This year, we had 90+ children registered, with 70 kids attending throughout the week, and 81 incredible volunteers who gave their time, energy, and hearts to help make VBS possible. What a beautiful picture of the Church coming together to invest in the NOW generation!
Throughout the week, kids learned four truths: God Is Our Creator, God Is Our Safe Place, God Loves Us and Gives Us New Life, & God Is Forever!
Through Bible teaching, worship, games, crafts, Scripture memory, and missions, children explored these truths in engaging and meaningful ways. It was exciting to watch them ask questions, participate enthusiastically, and grow in their understanding of God and His Word.
One of the most meaningful moments came on Wednesday night as we shared the gospel and explained how Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again so that we can have new life in Him. We are thankful for the spiritual conversations that took place and are praying that the seeds planted this week will continue to grow in the hearts of our children.
Our kids also had the opportunity to make a difference through our missions’ emphasis. Throughout the week, they learned about Guatemala. They learned a song in Spanish, made cards for kids in Guatemala & collected money all week long.
A week like this only happens because of the Church. Thank you to every volunteer who served, decorated spaces, led groups, taught lessons, ran games, prepared snacks, welcomed families, prayed, and worked behind the scenes. Your investment made an eternal impact!
VBS is much more than a fun summer event. It is an opportunity to build relationships, share the gospel, and help children discover the goodness of God. We are grateful for the many ways our church family came together to make this week possible.
Thank you for continuing to pray for the NOW generation. We believe God is at work in the lives of our children, and we are excited to see how He continues to grow the seeds that were planted during Rainforest Falls VBS.
Thank you, Crosspoint, for helping us reach the next generation with the hope of Jesus.
