Bluewater Bay Campus eLetter
From Our Campus Pastor
Crosspoint, Bluewater Bay,
The first day of the season called summer has arrived. But we also define summer as the time when school is out. Summer can be busy, chaotic, and unstructured to some degree. I would like to ask us to pray for pace and Pace.
Welcome to my double entendre!
First, since I am asking us to pray for pace, I am asking for us to think through this summer season of busyness, chaos, and unstructured time. You and I need to “walk with the Spirit,” as well as “keep in step with the Spirit” in all seasons of life. (Galatians 5) When I was walking the Camino de Santiago last year that was one of my goals. I needed to be keenly aware that God is with me each step of the way of the journey. I also need to be aware of the pace that I was walking, not just on a trail but also in life! Summer can be busy and I’m praying that we all “pace” ourselves well to walk with our three mile an hour God. Part of keeping that pace is being intentional about the Sabbath. Do not allow summer to keep you from keeping the Sabbath! Know that I am praying for you.
Secondly, I am asking for us to pray for Pace. Our newest Crosspoint Campus will be fully launching on August 9. Would you join me in prayer for that campus as well as the Campus Pastor, Brandon Acree. Also pray for all of the serve teams, including the launch team, as they prepare for that day. Pray that people in the community that are not connected to a church would choose to become part of what God is doing at Crosspoint, Pace!
Thank you for being people of prayer!

Billy Russell
Campus Pastor
