Bluewater Bay Campus eLetter
From our Student Minister
Hey Crosspoint Bluewater bay! It's Talyn Saul, your Student Minister.
I hope you are all enjoying Pumpkin Spice Latte Season! Yet no matter the season, or whatever seasonal coffee is in, it's always time to serve and be helpful neighbors. So with that being said, Community Serve Day is right around the corner!
One of our distinctives here at Crosspoint is that “it's about others” and we believe prioritizing that helps us live into being the Helpful Neighbors Christ is calling us to be!
I’m excited about our upcoming Community Serve Day, where all ages and abilities can help somehow! Whether you choose to serve alone, serve with your family, or serve with your life group, there is a place for everyone to get involved. This year Bluewater Bay will serve the local E.O.D. School and our local assisted living communities on October 10 at 8:30 A.M. Groups will meet on campus at 8:30 A.M. to prepare appreciation bags.
We look forward to seeing how God uses our hands and feet to bless the local E.O.D. School and our surrounding community. Mark your calendars and get ready to serve!

TOGETHER IN THE WORD | MATTHEW 24: 36-51
Together in the Word is a year-long church-wide journey through the New Testament designed to help every person, from kids to adults, develop a consistent rhythm of engaging God's Word. The heart behind this journey is simple: Every age and stage on the same page. That's why we've created Bible reading plans for kids, students, and adults so the whole family can engage the same passages each week and grow together in their faith. More than just a Bible reading plan, Together in the Word is also a sermon series. Each Sunday we’ll preach from a passage in that week’s readings, helping us connect what we’re learning throughout the week with what we’re experiencing in worship. Explore the reading plans HERE and join us on this journey through God's Word.

GATHER, PRAY, WORSHIP | OCTOBER 21
Programs and events don’t change people. The Holy Spirit does. That’s why we’re inviting our church family to become a people of prayer.
Join us for our new monthly Prayer Gatherings, held on the third Wednesday of every month from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. These gatherings will be centered on worship, prayer, seeking God’s presence, and expressing our dependence on Him as a church. These evenings are designed to be experienced by all ages and stages, for the whole family. It's an opportunity to come together as God's people, call on Him, and ask Him to move in our lives, our church, and our community.

Candypalooza is coming!
Join us on Sunday, October 25, during our 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services for a fun-filled morning your kids will love!

Bring the whole family and be part of the fun — it’s going to be a Sunday to remember!

SEPTEMBER KIDS THEME | GOD NEVER FAILS
This month, we’re reminded that God never needs a “Plan B.” Unlike us, God’s plans, love, and character are unchanging and never fail. Our children experience disappointment in many ways; friendships ending, losing pets, family struggles, and seeing the brokenness of the world. The book of Judges shows us that people repeatedly failed God and one another, but God never failed His people. When life feels uncertain or disappointing, we can help our children remember that Jesus never fails us. Our hope isn’t found in a perfect world or predictable circumstances, but in an unfailing God who is our secure foundation (Hebrews 6:19).

TOGETHER IN THE WORD
What if we could journey through the entire New Testament—together?
Together in the Word is a 48-week journey through the New Testament designed to help us read, reflect, and grow in God’s Word together. Each week, you’ll be given assigned chapters to read, followed by a sermon that recaps and explores what we’ve read. You’ll also receive Connect Notes to help you dig deeper and apply the message to your life.
And we don’t want to stop there!
Each Monday at 12:00 PM CST, we’ll gather online via Microsoft Teams for an open discussion group. We’ll talk through the previous week’s assigned chapters and sermon, share insights from the Connect Notes, ask questions, and connect with the current week’s reading.
Whether you’ve been studying the Bible for years or you’re just getting started, you’re invited to be part of the journey.

48 weeks. The entire New Testament. One community growing together in the Word. Come read. Come discuss. Come grow.

LEAD OR JOIN A MULTIPLY GROUP
Multiply Groups are gender-specific, closed groups of 3-5 believers who meet together weekly for the purpose of accelerated spiritual transformation. It is not evangelistic in its form or function, but in its fruit: It makes disciples who will then go on to make more disciples. Multiply Groups form through pre-existing, meaningful relationships with other believers in environments like Life Groups or Serve Teams. Because of this, Multiply Groups are not simply joined, but started.
As we work to live out the mission God has given us to be people connecting people to Christ and their unique role in God’s mission, Multiply Groups are an integral part of that process. Join us as we walk through what it looks like to start and lead a Multiply Group.
If you have any questions, please contact Billy Russell or Meredith Aylward Jordan.

JOIN A LIFE GROUP THIS FALL
We weren't meant to follow Jesus alone. Life change happens in community, and Life Groups are one of the best ways to grow in your faith and build meaningful relationships. Take a step toward community this fall as we become more like Jesus together.
Explore available groups and find your next step along the disciple-making pathway.
Check out our Group Finder HERE.

CONSIDER LEADING A LIFE GROUP
Life is better together, and someone has to take the first step. As we prepare for our fall semester, we'd love for you to consider leading a Life Group and helping people connect with God and others in meaningful community. If you're interested or would like more information about leading, contact Meredith Aylward Jordan.
