Bluewater Bay Campus eLetter
From our Student Minister
Hey Crosspoint Bluewater Bay!
As we step deeper into autumn, I am sure you’re all noticing the leaves turning and falling, and the air cooling (by what feels like 2 degrees). There is always such a distinct joy that comes with this time of year!
November is synonymous with gratitude! For this month's prayer gathering on November 18, we will be focusing on expressing this gratitude back to God. We’ve had a fantastic time at our monthly prayer gatherings every third Wednesday, and we look forward to gathering again this month and lifting our hearts in thankfulness.
As we cultivate hearts of gratitude, let's also remember to share our blessings with those around us. Don't forget to bring in your canned goods for our food drive! Help provide a Thanksgiving meal for a local family! Pick up an empty bag and shopping list in the lobby of your worship venue, fill it with the requested items, and return it to the collection racks by November 15.
Looking a little further ahead, as soon as our Thanksgiving Food Drive wraps up, we'll turn our attention to Christmas! Starting November 22, we'll collect brand-new toys for our annual Christmas Store, which helps bless local families during the Christmas season.
Thank you for your living into the role of being Faithful Followers and Helpful neighbors!
Blessings,
Talyn Saul

TOGETHER IN THE WORD | EPHESIANS 2:1-10
Together in the Word is a year-long church-wide journey through the New Testament designed to help every person, from kids to adults, develop a consistent rhythm of engaging God's Word. The heart behind this journey is simple: Every age and stage on the same page. That's why we've created Bible reading plans for kids, students, and adults so the whole family can engage the same passages each week and grow together in their faith. More than just a Bible reading plan, Together in the Word is also a sermon series. Each Sunday we’ll preach from a passage in that week’s readings, helping us connect what we’re learning throughout the week with what we’re experiencing in worship. Explore the reading plans HERE and join us on this journey through God's Word.

GATHER, PRAY, WORSHIP | NOVEMBER 18
Programs and events don’t change people. The Holy Spirit does. That’s why we’re inviting our church family to become a people of prayer.
Join us for our new monthly Prayer Gatherings, held on the third Wednesday of every month from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. These gatherings will be centered on worship, prayer, seeking God’s presence, and expressing our dependence on Him as a church. These evenings are designed to be experienced by all ages and stages, for the whole family. It's an opportunity to come together as God's people, call on Him, and ask Him to move in our lives, our church, and our community.

CHRISTMAS STORE
Give the gift of dignity to a local family this year by donating a brand-new, unopened, unwrapped toy for our Christmas Store. Local families will be referred by Caring and Sharing to buy donated gifts for pennies on the dollar. Bring new unwrapped gifts to the racks outside your worship venue by Sunday December 13.

NOVEMBER KIDS THEME | GOD IS GREATER THAN ANYTHING
This month, kids will learn that God is greater than anything we can face or put our hope in. Through the stories of Elijah and Jonah, they’ll discover that God is powerful, merciful, just, and always faithful. Most importantly, they’ll be reminded that they can trust God because He holds them, loves them, and cares for them more than they can imagine.

TOGETHER IN THE WORD
What if we could journey through the entire New Testament—together?
Together in the Word is a 48-week journey through the New Testament designed to help us read, reflect, and grow in God’s Word together. Each week, you’ll be given assigned chapters to read, followed by a sermon that recaps and explores what we’ve read. You’ll also receive Connect Notes to help you dig deeper and apply the message to your life.
And we don’t want to stop there!
Each Monday at 12:00 PM CST, we’ll gather online via Microsoft Teams for an open discussion group. We’ll talk through the previous week’s assigned chapters and sermon, share insights from the Connect Notes, ask questions, and connect with the current week’s reading.
Whether you’ve been studying the Bible for years or you’re just getting started, you’re invited to be part of the journey.

48 weeks. The entire New Testament. One community growing together in the Word. Come read. Come discuss. Come grow.

LEAD OR JOIN A MULTIPLY GROUP
Multiply Groups are gender-specific, closed groups of 3-5 believers who meet together weekly for the purpose of accelerated spiritual transformation. It is not evangelistic in its form or function, but in its fruit: It makes disciples who will then go on to make more disciples. Multiply Groups form through pre-existing, meaningful relationships with other believers in environments like Life Groups or Serve Teams. Because of this, Multiply Groups are not simply joined, but started.
As we work to live out the mission God has given us to be people connecting people to Christ and their unique role in God’s mission, Multiply Groups are an integral part of that process. Join us as we walk through what it looks like to start and lead a Multiply Group.
If you have any questions, please contact Billy Russell or Meredith Aylward Jordan.

JOIN A LIFE GROUP THIS FALL
We weren't meant to follow Jesus alone. Life change happens in community, and Life Groups are one of the best ways to grow in your faith and build meaningful relationships. Take a step toward community this fall as we become more like Jesus together.
Explore available groups and find your next step along the disciple-making pathway.
Check out our Group Finder HERE.

CONSIDER LEADING A LIFE GROUP
Life is better together, and someone has to take the first step. As we prepare for our fall semester, we'd love for you to consider leading a Life Group and helping people connect with God and others in meaningful community. If you're interested or would like more information about leading, contact Meredith Aylward Jordan.
