God Won't Give You More Than You Can Handle

There are some individual verses of the Bible that are commonly used and referenced... Usually out of context. You could call this “cherry picking” scripture or “proof texting.” What would happen if we re-read the passage in its original context? It might just change the way we see God, ourselves and world around us. Join us over the next couple of weeks as we reframe well-known bible passages and highlight the skills of contextual bible-reading and asking good questions!

BACK TO SCHOOL PRAYER | AUGUST 8 

We are going to cover our Bluewater schools in prayer the Saturday before school starts. Come join us in the parking lot of Bluewater Elementary on Saturday, August 8 at 8:45 a.m. to pray for the preschools and elementary schools in Bluewater, as well as the middle/high schools that educate our Bluewater students. We invite homeschool families to join us as well and receive prayer as we enter into a new school year together.

Join us as we celebrate the start of a new school year, pray over our schools, students, and families, and kick off our new Family First sermon series. Kids are invited to bring their backpacks to Crosspoint Kids for a special "backpack blessing" prayer moment. Throughout this series, we'll discover how God designed the home to be the primary place of discipleship and how we can all intentionally help the next generation follow Jesus. Don’t miss this special Sunday together!

MISSION OF THE WEEK | BACK TO SCHOOL RESOURCE FAIR

Back to School Resource Fair: Crosspoint Missions is hosting a Back to School Resource Fair on Sunday, July 26, 4:00-5:30 in the Community Life Center on the Niceville Campus. The goal of the fair is to help connect local families with resources in the area. The event is free and open to the public.

JULY KIDS THEME | GOD IS WISE

Solomon wrote the book of Proverbs after God answered his prayer and gave him great wisdom. We should seek wisdom. Wisdom is understanding a situation and knowing what to do. God loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for our sins. But His love doesn’t stop there. God has much to say about human friendship and how we use our words and resources. We can trust His ways and apply what we learn from Him.

CHOIR MISSION AND MUSIC TOUR
