From our Interim Campus Pastor

One of the greatest challenges of our day isn’t a lack of information, opportunities, or even connection through technology. It’s loneliness. We were created for relationships, yet so many of us are trying to navigate life, faith, struggles, and victories on our own. The truth is, God never intended for us to try and live our lives that way.

Scripture, we see that God designed us for community. From the very beginning, He declared, “It is not good for the man to be alone” (Genesis 2:18), and the early church thrived because believers regularly gathered, shared life together, encouraged one another, prayed for one another, and grew in their faith side by side. As followers of Jesus, we don't simply connect with Christ through worship. We also develop in community through meaningful relationships with other believers.

That's why one of the most important next steps in Crosspoint's disciple-making pathway is finding a place to develop in community. We believe life change happens best in circles, not rows. While worship services help us connect with Christ, groups create space for us to grow, be encouraged, ask questions, pray together, be held accountable, and walk through life's ups and downs with people who know and care about us.

This Sunday, we'll be hosting GroupLink in the Café from 9:00-9:30 a.m. and 10:30-11:00 a.m. If you've been looking for a place to connect and belong, GroupLink is the perfect opportunity to meet group leaders, ask questions, and find a group that's right for you. Whether you've never joined a group before or you're looking for a new place for relationships, we'd love to help you take your next step.

You don't have to wait until Sunday to start exploring your options. You can browse all of our open Life Groups for this fall by visiting our Crosspoint GroupFinder here.

Community doesn't happen by accident. It happens when we take intentional steps toward relationships, and we truly believe God uses those relationships to help us grow into the people He has called and created us to be.

So, join us this Sunday for worship, for Week 2 of our Family First series, and for GroupLink. We can't wait to help you find your people and take your next step of developing in community.
