Recreation is an important part of life balance, and it’s one of many ways we connect with the community around us. Crosspoint Recreation offers a variety of sports programs, classes, and groups for people of all ages, walks of life, and faith backgrounds. You’ll find all sorts of sports and activities on our schedule with a wide range of skill levels.

Recreation Soccer

Summer Recreation Soccer Clinic

Join us for our Soccer Clinic for children ages rising 3rd to 7th grade. We will focus on basic soccer skills, drills and partner activities and game fundamentals.

The clinic will run July 7, 8, 10 and 11 from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m., in the Community Life Center Gym on the Niceville campus; with practice games to close out the session.

Rise Up Summer Dance Clinic

Join us for an exciting and energetic dance and tumbling clinic led by Kristen Elders. This is a fantastic opportunity for children to develop skills, confidence and have tons of summer fun! Dates are July 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, 31 in the Community Life Center on the Niceville campus. Sessions are broken into age brackets: ages 3-5 from 2-3 pm and ages 6-8 from 3-4 pm. Recreation Pickleball

Summer Recreation Pickleball Clinic

Join us for our Pickleball Clinic for children ages rising 3rd to 7th grade. We will focus on basics to include rules of the game, court dimensions, and games strategies. Drills will include serves, return serves, dinks, and volleys.

The clinic will run July 14, 15, 17 and 18 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., in the Community Life Center Gym; with practice games to close out the session.

Summer Recreation Special Needs Clinic

Join us for our Special Needs Clinic for children ages rising 1st to 4th graders. We will focus on serving children with special needs including physical, cognitive, and behavioral disabilities. Some of the opportunities for adapted sports will include basketball, modified baseball, lacrosse skills, soccer and golf (putting skills). The list of available sports and skills will be modified based on student needs and interests.

We will also have some volunteer Special Guest Helpers that will share how they have overcome their disabilities and lead very productive lives. Our primary focus will be on having fun and encouraging ALL kids to try a new sport in a safe environment! EVERY child is a winner!
The clinic will run July 14, 15, 17 and 18 from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m., in the Community Life Center Gym; with practice games to close out the session.

Summer Recreation Lacrosse Clinic

Join us for our Lacrosse Clinic for rising 1st to 4th grade. We will focus on the 4 basic skills of lacrosse: Cradling, Scooping, Passing and Catching. We will also cover equipment, field dimensions, team strategies and practice games.

The clinic will run July 21, 22, 24 and 25 from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m., in the Community Life Center Gym; with practice games to close out the session.

Summer Recreation Basketball Clinic

Join us for our Basketball Clinic for rising 1st to 4th grade. We will focus on fundamental skills, real game experience, and confidence-building.

The clinic will run July 21, 22, 24, 25 from 9:00-11:00 am, in the Community Life Center Gym; with practice games to close out the session.
