Life is full of noise. Screen time continues to go up, and our schedules continue to fill up. Today, it’s as important as ever to be “Tuning Out the Noise” so that we can “Tune In to God.” In this message series we will rediscover some ancient ways to tune out the noise of a modern world, and tune ourselves in to an infinite God.

Unused Gifts
We just celebrated God’s gift of salvation through the birth of Jesus. Through the letters to first century church, the Apostle Paul teaches about other gifts, spiritual gifts, that we receive from God when we accept our gift of salvation. Through God’s grace we receive these gifts to help build the body of Christ. As we begin to reset our priorities for the New Year, let’s commit to identifying and using our spiritual gifts to build the Church through the power of the Holy Spirit.

In the ancient world, a person’s name was far more than simply something you called them, it was a representation of they are at their core. Isaiah tells us that Christ would be called “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace”
