David Message Series

David

Israel’s King David is one of the Bible’s most famous people. We tend to look at Bible heroes through rose-colored glasses, but David was a man of great “highs” and terrible “lows” and the Bible doesn’t whitewash the flaws of this hero of the faith. In spite of it all, the Bible refers to David as “a man after God’s own heart”! Join us in this summer series as we look at a great number of lessons that we can learn from David–lessons that are as relevant and helpful today as then.

The Problem of God

Have you ever been skeptical about God? Had a crisis in your faith journey and wondered, “Why is this happening?” or “Where is God in all of this?” or maybe, “Is there even a God at all?” The Problem of God will explore the claims of Christianity. Far from being irrational, Christianity welcomes and encourages intellectual questioning. Belief in God and the Christian faith is both rational and compelling. Join us for this seven-week series as we create a safe and honest space to answer these questions. Your faith will be challenged no matter where you are on that journey!

Greater Than

Everyone wants to experience a taste of greatness in life. It’s what drives so many to competition in every arena of life from sports to music, academics to fashion, and even in cooking. Yes we all dream of being known as the GOAT-the greatest of all time. When it comes to our faith, who does the Bible say is the greatest? The author of the book of Hebrews gives us a very clear picture of who they think is the greatest of all time. Join us as we see who is greater than all the rest.

Enough

In order to accomplish God’s plan, it is going to take all of us asking ourselves a question, “What is ENOUGH?” This may be the most important question we ask ourselves in 2018 as we consider all that God might do if we take that question seriously and invest in things that matter for eternity! Imagine if we had more than ENOUGH, and together we are able to reach more families, more kids, more teenagers, and start more campuses? Join us for two messages that have the potential of changing the trajectory of our church and our lives!

Begin Again

Everyone needs a second chance (and more likely a third, fourth, fifth and on and on). What if God and your next chance were right around the corner? What if God’s not angry, but full of grace and mercy? Come begin the New Year by discovering this second chance God of redemption, all throughout the Bible, and choose to Begin (Again)!
